6th April NBA Picks
An abundance of action tonight in the NBA, lot’s of banana skin fixtures as we near the playoffs, but here’s a couple a selections that look great value.

Detroit Pistons @ Memphis Grizzlies
Duren 10+ Points, Duren 10+ Rebounds
Every time Duren has managed 10+ rebounds this season, he has also got 10+ points – He’s got a double double in 41/58 games this season.
That’s great in isolation, and is enough to take the bet imo, but the matchup is also fantastic, against the Grizzlies with a lot of injuries, including now Jaren Jackson Jr, leaving them very short, particularly in the centre position, which should leave Duren with an easy matchup in the paint.
Duren played the Grizzlies a couple games ago, but only last 5 minutes after losing a tooth. It’s still an ideal matchup to rack up boards against a Grizzlies team allowing the 5th most boards to centres across the season.

NY Knicks @ Chicago Bulls
McBride O21.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds
Once again I am drawn to a low PRA line for McBride, following a miss against Sacramento. Volume was still there, as was minutes, so I’m happy to back this once again. Knicks have had some monster individual performances of late, notably with Brunson putting up 65 points against the Spurs, DiVincenzo hitting 11 three’s against the Pistons, and Hart with 31 points against the Kings.
Since adopting a starting role, McBride has:
- 32 PRA (47 mins) vs Warriors
- 17 PRA (44 mins) vs Nuggets
- 31 PRA (48 mins) vs Nets
- 22 PRA (43 mins) vs Pistons
- 39 PRA (40 mins) vs Raptors
- 12 PRA (46 mins) vs Spurs
- 26 PRA (46 mins) vs OKC
- 28 PRA (45 mins) vs Heat
- 19 PRA (43 mins) vs Kings
He’s hit this line in 6/9, with two misses coming when his teammates have been on a tear. That’s once again not out of the question, but when usage and points are shared more easily, McBride generally gets over this line on points alone.
The Bulls are a good matchup for perimeter shooting, which favours all three of his props, in my opinion. If we see a lot of catch and shoot opportunities beyond the perimeter, his assists prop looks good value, as does the potential for long rebounds.
