It’s a massive clash between two stragglers in the IPL, we’re halfway through the season and points are of the utmost importance to keep qualification hopes alive.

I really like both selections as singles, but instead I’m opting for a combination of the two. I believe there is a pretty low chance one occurs without the other.
We’re halfway into the season, so there is a decent sample size of seven games to go off, let’s look firstly into the data:
Punjab Super Kings:

Punjab have hit the most Sixes in 4/7, and drawn in two of the losses. The data looks more compelling when looking at the Titans
Gujarat Titans:
- vs Delhi: 1, 6
- vs Royals: 4, 8
- vs Super Giants: 4, 6
- vs Punjab: 5, 8
- vs Sunrisers; 6, 6
- vs Super Kings: 3, 11
- vs Mumbai: 4, 7
Gujarat opponents have hit the most Sixes in 6/7, with one draw. Not once this season have GT outscored their opponents with maximums.
Neither have Gujarat even surpassed six 6’s, making the line of 7.5 look very generous. Mullanpur has been difficult to predict, but it’s the fourth consecutive game for Punjab in front of a home crowd. They should be vying for a victory, as they managed just recently against the same opponents (which saw this bet land comfortably).
